CCCS provides assistance with housing issues thrrough pre-purchase, post-purchase,
reverse mortgage, and foreclosure prevention counseling. Our agency works with city
and state housing authorities and is certified by the Department of Housing and
Urban Developement (HUD). CCCS maintains on-going relationships with agencies such
as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, to provide help with home financing issues.
CCCS is a HUD approved agency. Our advisors can help you to get back on track if
you have fallen behind with your mortgage payments. We can discuss options available
to you for curing your delinquent home loan and create an action plan for successful
homeownership.
A reverse mortgage is a special type of loan used by older Americans to convert
the equity in their homes into cash. This special program allows homeowners with
low or no outstanding mortgage debt to borrow against equity without having to repay
the debt while occupying the home. Money from a reverse mortgage can provide seniors
with the financial security they need to fully enjoy their retirement years, while
allowing them to remain in their home. At CCCS we have counselors certified by HUD
and AARP who specialize in helping our clients who are 62 or older explore and evaluate
this financial tool.
